BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte hereby:

Authorizes the Chief Probation Officer, or the chairperson of the Board of Supervisors to submit and/or sign Butte
County's Application for Approval for the County's Comprehensive Multi-agency Juvenile Justice Plan
Modification and related contracts, amendments, or extensions with the State of California; and,
Assures that the County of Butte Comprehensive Multi-agency Juvenile Justice Plan Modification has been
developed and will be provided to the Board of Corrections in a format determined by the Board of Corrections no
later than May 1, 2002.
Assures that the County of Butte Board of Supervisors and the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council has reviewed
and approves the county's Comprehensive Multi-agency Juvenile Justice Plan Modification;
Assures that the County of Butte will adhere to the requirements of the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act
(Chapters 3~3 and 475 of the Government Code) retarding the submission of the Comprehensive Multi-agency
Juvenile Justice Plan Modification application, investment of allocated monies, including arly interest earnings,
expenditure of said funds, and the submission of required reports to the Board of Corrections.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 23rdday of ~pri1 , 2002 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors I~o1an, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor F3eeler
NOT VOTING: None
