HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-065~~~ ~~ ~S Up.~•~*i ~ •i~ f ~ • ~~© ~ • i/'/r~ ~ /y~ : ~ V+ ^ 1~1 , ~ . i* : ~' i ~~i• ~ •. .~..`~ .~r ~' - ' ~~ t~rr~~~~r~•• BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolufian No. ~~-~6~ RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BUTTE Ct1UNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TO APPLY FOR THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES (CHILD MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE) FROM US DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (SAMHSA) WHEREAS, US Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA} has announced the availability of funds far the Cooperative Agreements for the Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and Their Families Program (Child Mental Health Initiative}; and WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) is a local government agency that is eligible and wishes to apply for and receive a grant from this funding source to develop systems of care that deliver effective comprehensive services for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance and their families. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors authorizes the Butte County Director of Behavioral Health to apply for the Child Mental Health Initiative grant in an amount not more than the maximum amount permitted, and in accordance with the program statute Regulations; If the Grant application authorized by this resolution is approved, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health hereby agrees to use the funds in the manner presented in the application as approved by the Department PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 23~d day of April 2002, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisor NOT VOTING: hfone ATTEST: 1~olan, Houma, Yamaguchi and ~C'haTr Josiassen 33eeler ~ r. ~° '~~ Curt Jo~iassen, Chair Board rs~ Supervisors Paul McIntosh, Chief Administrative Officer and Clerk of the Board of pervisors ~ ~----- deputy
