COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section I9 of Ordinance No. 3807 of the County of
Butte entitled "320-001 DISTRIC"I' ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" is hereby amended by
adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Paralegal (position to etld 12-31-02)
thereby increasing the total from 75.5 to 76.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 17 of Ordinance No. 3807 of the County of
Butte entitled "100-001 COUNTY COUNSEL" is hereby amended by deleting therefrom
the following:
Positions Classification Title
I Chief Deputy County Counsel or Deputy County Counsel IV
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Tit
i Deputy County Counsel IV, III, II, I
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 11.

NOW, "THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 28 of Ordinance No. 3807 of the County of
Butte entitled "360-008 SHERIFF-CORONER -SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT UNIT"
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Deputy Sheriff (position to end 10-3 I -04)
thereby increasing the total from 5 to 6.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 50 of Ordinance No. 3807 of the County of
Butte entitled "54l -001 BEHAVIORAL HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" is hereby
amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Psychiatrist
thereby decreasing the total from 332 to 331.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this
21st day of gay , 2002, by the following vote:
AYES: supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
