RESOLUTION r1UTHORIZING DISTRICT ATTORNEY
TO SUBVII"I' WORKERS' COMPENSA"PION FRAUD GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors desires to undertake a certain
program designated as the Workers' Compensation -California h~surance Code Section ] 872.8,
California Code of Regulations Subsection 9, Article 4, Section 2698.65 administered by the
California Department of h~surance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1"I' RESOLVED that the District Attorney of the Butte County
DisU-ict Attorney's Ol~ficc is authorized, oi~ its behalf to submit the attached proposal to the
Califon~ia. Department of Insurance and is authorized to execute on behalf of the Board of
Supervisors the Grant Award Agreement upon award including any extensions or amendments
thereof:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant fiords received hereunder shall not be used to
supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
1 hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the resolution adopted by the Butte
County Board of Supervisors in a meeting thereof held on the 21st day of May, 20012, by the
following vote:
