PROCLAMATION OF TERMINATION OF LOCAL EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance
with the proclamation thereof by the Chief Administrative Officer on the 8`h day of June,
2002, and its ratification by the Board of Supervisors on the 1 1~}' day of June, 2002, as a
result of conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property caused by a
wildfire in the Williams Road area, causing and threatening significant property damage
(and risk to human life) commencing on June 8, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now
deemed to be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment
and facilities within the County of Butte.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, on this 1 1 `~' day of June, 2002, by the following votes:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Roux, Yamaguchi. and Chair Josassen
