Resolufion No. o2-loh RF,SOLUTION TO EXPRESS INTENTION 'TO SELL REAL PROPERTY WHEREAS, upon the dissolution of the Lime Saddle Community Services District, the Butte County Board of Supervisors assumed jurisdiction over all matters previously involved with the district; and WHEREAS, as a part of ±he dissolution proceedings, the Board of Supervisors directed General Services to proceed with thP~ sale of all assets previously belonging to the di~~trict; and WHEREAS, the sole remaining property is a parcel of land identified as .~P 055-290-093 located at 5291 Pentz Road, Paradise, California; and WHEREAS, the sale of real property is conducted in accordance with California Government Code ~ 25520 et. seq. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors declares its intention to sell the property located 529] Pentz Road in Paradise, California, APN 055- 290-093;and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the minimum price for which the property will be sold is forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) cash; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property shall be sold "AS IS" with no recourse to the County, and that the bidders are responsible for determining the condition of the property to include the existence of easements; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Buttc County Board. of Supervisors hereby directs the Butte County General Services Director to advertise the sale of this property through sealed bids to be received, opened and considered by the Board of Supervisors at 10:30 A.M. during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors on July 23, 2002; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bidders shall be responsible for delivery of their written, sealed bids to the Butte County General Services Director, 3-A County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965-3334 no later than 10;00 A.M., Tuesday, July 23, 2002. Written bids received after this time will not be considered; however, the Board will call for oral bids following the 10:30 A.M opening of written bids during the regularly scheduled meeting on Juiy 23, 2002; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board may make final acceptance of the bid meeting all the terms and conditions of this resolution during the same session or at any adjourned session of the same meeting held within the ten following days. Alternatively, the Board may reject ali written or oral bids and withdraw the property from sale.
