RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ADVANCE ACQUISITION FOR
STATE HIGHWAY 149
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of Transportatian desires to acquire that
property located in Butte County required far the Highway 149 widening project prior to
securing environmental clearance for said project; and
WHEREAS, the State of Califon~ia Department of Transportation and the County of
Butte intend to accept and execute a new Freeway Agreement further clarifying the
responsibilities and obligations of each party for the above-referenced project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
supports and approves said advance acquisition and intends to execute anew Freeway
Agreement for said project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 10"' day of
September 2002 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Roux, Yamaguchi and (ha_r .Josiassen

NOT VOTING: None
