COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
Resolution No. ~~-1.62
RESOLUTION CHANGING NAMF. OF FARM & HOME ADVISOR DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Butte County Farm & Home Department provides educational and
research programs in agriculture, home economics, 4-H youth and community research
development; and
WHEREAS, the Department is funded through a cooperative agreement with. the
University of California; and
WHEREAS, the University of California, in order to be consistent with other counties
throughout the state, has requested that the name of the Department officially be changed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
that henceforth the Faun Home office shall he known as Farm, Home & 4-H Department.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24`h day of
September 2002 by the following vote:
