RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S INVESTIGATOR
KORY HONF.A AS INVESTIGATOR OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Investigator Kory Honea has been a District Attorney Investigator for the Butte
County District Attorney's Office since 2000 and has gained wide respect for the investigation of cases
relating to child sexual abuse; and
WHEREAS, Investigator Honea has served Butte County as a Deputy Sheriff from 1993 to
2000, working in assignments in both the Patrol and Investigations Bureau; and
WHEREAS, Investigator Honea has further served Butte County as a District Attorney
Investigator assigned to the District Attorney's Child Support, Child Abuse and Major Crimes Units;
and
WHEREAS, the California Sexual Assault Investigators Association, astate-wide organization
with over 1,000 sexual assault investigators, has selected Investigator Kory Honea as its 2002
Investigator of the Year for his outstanding dedication to the investigation of the crimes of sexual
assault.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
recognizes Investigator Kory Honea for his expertise, professionalism, and dedication to the
investigation of sexual assault cases in Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 22°`' day of October
2002 by the following vote:
