HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-188w ~: ~: ~ + ~Q• F ,~~ i~: „ =~~ ^ BOARD OR SUPERVISORS C©UNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resa~ution No. ~z-18~ RESOLLIT'ION RECOGNIZING SUPERVISING JUVENILE HALL COUNSELOR CARLOS SAUCEDO, AS RECIPIENT OF THE STATE MERITORIOUS SERVICE AWARD FOR SUPERVISORS BY THE CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF PROBATION INSTITUTION ADMINISTRATORS, NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGION WHEREAS, Mr. Carlos Saucedo has been an employee in Butte County Juvenile Hall since 1987, and was promoted to Senior Counselor in October of 1991, which position was reclassified to Supervising Juvenile Hall Counselor in 1998; and WHEREAS, Carlos Saucedo was bestowed the honor of Butte County Probation's Counselor of the Year for 1999; and WHEREAS, his stellar leadership abilities are demonstrated in such capacities as his role of being a department Weaponless Defense Instructor who has twice returned from serious rotator cuff surgeries to continue to provide this instruction, and also demonstrated in his unfailing dedication and unflappable shift leadership to the staff and youth at Butte County Juvenile Hall; and WHEREAS, Carlos Saucedo received the State Meritorious Service Award for Supervisors at the California Association ofProbation Institution Administrators statewide conference held in SheI1 Beach, California, ©ctober 9, 2002. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors reeogmize Mr. Carlos Saucedo for his exemplary work in the juvenile corrections field for the Butte County Probation Department.
