RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN
NOTICE OF GRANT AWARD BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOL & DRUG PROGRAMS
OFFICE OF DRUG COURT PROGRAMS
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
FOR
FY 2001!2002
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) requires
authorization to accept unanticipated funds from the California Department of Alcohol & Drug
Programs Office of Drug Court Programs for the Comprehensive Drug Court Implementation
Program in the amount of $74,097.00 for FY 2001!2002; and
WHEREAS, BCDBH will utilize this new grant to provide intensive outpatient treatment,
day treatment, and increased residential treatment for adult participants, as well as. program
evaluation for adult and juvenile Drug Court Program participants; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement will be from December 29, 2000 through
December 28, 2004, with a maximum receivable amount of $360,745.00 for the term of this
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Department of Behavioral
Health is authorized to accept the Project Year 1 funds and continue its participation in the Drug
Court Program,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 12"' day of
November 2002, by the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Noux, Yamaguchi and GhairJosiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT; None.
NOT VOTING: None
