RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO SIGN
NOTICE OF GRANT AWARD AMENDMENT BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOL & DRUG PROGRAMS
OFFICE OF DRUG COURT PROGRAMS
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
FOR
FY 200212003
WHEREAS. Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH} requires Butte
County Board of Supervisors' authorization to accept additional funds BCDBH has been awarded
for Project Year 4 from the State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs Office of Drug Court
Programs (ADP) and to continue its successful Drug Court Partnership Project; and
WHEREAS, BCDBH requests the Butte County Board of Supervisors' authorization to
accept the additional revenue for FY 2002/2003 in the amount of $54,183 under the Agreement #
DCP-01-04-04-A1; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement has been extended from May 1, 1999 through
June 30, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
acknowledges the Amendment regarding this contract with the State Department of Alcohol &
Drug Programs Office of Drug Gourt Programs, and authorizes BCDBH to accept the $54,183
and extend the term for the continued participation in the Drug Court Partnership Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 12th day of
November 2002, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisory Reeler, Dolan, Hour, Yamaguchi and Chair JosiassE~n
