RESOLUTION TO DISSOLVE THE EXISTING REVOLVING FUND, RETURN
APPROPRIATIONS TO THE GENERAL FUND, AND F,STABLISH A NEW
REVOLVING FUND FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILD SUPPORT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors on April 16, 1985, with BMO 85-271-23, pursuant
to Government Code § 29410, established a revolving fund to cover Family Support activities
involving Internal Revenue tax return interceptions; and
WHEREAS, it is now determined to be a necessity to dissolve this fund and return the
original $10,000 appropriations to the General fund; and
WHEREAS, it is now determined to be a necessity to establish a new revolving fund to
cover Child Support activities involving Internal Revenue tax return interceptions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOI~VF.D by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That the revolving fwld established. under BMO 85-271-23 dated April 16, 1985, be
dissolved.
2. That the original $10,000 appropriations used to establish said revolving fund be
returned to the Genera] Fund.
3. That within current Child Support Services appropriations, in accordance with
Auditor-Controller directions, pursuant to Government Code § 29410, a new
revolving fund be established to cover Child Support activities involving hlternal
Revenue tax return interceptions.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, on the 10th day of December 2002 by the following votes:
