HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-203~~+ ~~ ~S Up, 6;''i~ • • • • I'v gal: ~ ~ :Uli ^y,^ . ~ s ~ •f +C~ : ;. ~ ~• y~f ~1 ~~4~n•p~~ ~ ~~'~., L'OUN'~.•'~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution N~. oz-zo3 PROCLAMATION OF TERMINATION OF LOCAL EMERGENCY WHEREAS, a local drought emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance with the proclamation thereof by the Chief Administrative Officer on the 19th day of September, 2002, and. its ratification by the Board of Supervisors on the 24th day of September, 2002, as a result of conditions of drought and the negative effect on the livestock industry in Butte County; and WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now covered by a designation of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that allows Butte County farmers and ranchers to directly receive USDA Emergency Assistance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
