CQUNTY 4F-BU`~TE, 5TATE 4F C~~k.IFIA •+~_~' ;,~...__._,.• Resoiution No. o3-a2o RESOLUTION GIVING: NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO ABANDON A PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY CROWN POINT ROAD WHEREAS, this Board has received a petition from ten or more free-holders, requesting the abandonment of a public right of way as described below, and at least two of the petitioners are residents of the road district in which said public right of way is situated; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of California Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 8320) this Board shall set a date, hour and place for a hearing on the petition for abandonment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors: } . That this board hereby gives notice that at its regular meeting on February 25, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., in the Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, 25 County Center Drive, (Jroville California, a hearing shall be held to hear all persons interested in the abandonment of that certain Crown Point Road right of way situate in the Co~lnty of Butte, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Being a portion of that certain County of Butte road known as "Crown Point Road", lying within the Northwest one-quarter of the Southeast one-quarter of Section 24, Township 23 North, Range 2 East, M. D. M., and also being shown on that certain State of California, Division of Highways ABANDONMENT MAP and RELINQUISHMENT MAP for Relinquishment to the COUNTY OF BUTTE under Relinquishment Request No. 24145-X approved August 20, 1971, and recorded September 1, 1971 in State Highway Map Book No.4 at Pages 27 and 28 in the Office of the Recorder, County of Butte, State of California, and also being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the centerline of said County of Butte road known as "Crown Point Road" as shown on that certain Record of Survey neap filed for record on April 19, 1978 in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book 64 of Maps at Page 42; distant thereon South 79° } 5' 30" East, 1399 feet fram the Westerly terminus of that certain course designated as South 79° 15' 30" East, 280.67 feet; thence leaving said POINT OF BEGINNING North 10° 44' 30" East, 30.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING North 03°11' 21" West, 19.36 feet; thence along a tangent curve to the left with a radius of 90.00 feet through a central angle of 55° 42' 18" for an arc length of 87.50 feet; thence North 58° 53' 39" West, 95.08 feet; thence along a tangent curve to the right with a radius of 175.00 feet through a central angle of 46° 03' O1" for an arc length of 140.65 feet; thence North 12° 50' 38" West, 29.75 feet; thence North OS° 00' 00" West, 40.00 feet and North 25° 00' 00" West, 51.17 feet more or less to a point on the Northerly line of that certain parcel of Page 1 of 2 land described in the Deed to Dan Christopher et al recorded February 5, 2002 in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California at Recorders Serial No. 2002-0005874, said point being the terminal point of the centerline herein being described. Reserving therefrom an easement for ingress, egress, road and public services purposes for the benefit of those land owners of the northwest one-quarter of the southeast one- quarter, the southwest one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter and the north one-half of the northeast one-quarter of Section 24, Township 23 North, Range 2 East, M. D. M. and for public services including, but not limited to Pacific Gas and Electric and Pacific Bell. 2. That a map showing the public right of way to be abandoned is on file in the Office of the Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965. 3. That at the conclusion of said hearing the Board intends to abandon said public right of way. 4. That this abandonment proceeding is being conducted pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Califon~ia Streets and Highways Code (commencing with Section 8320). 5. That this Resolution be posted and published pursuant to the provisions of Chapter3 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways code.
