M :. ~ M,, ,~ ~~ . a 4v~`~ ~~\ ,~ ,~ Y ~ ~~ B11~'i`TE, S7~-T~ OF' CALf~QR'°- - µ ~.~ , - ~.~;_ . ~, .w~•: - RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A~icsolufion No. 03-024 CHANGE (Imprest Cash) FUND FOR THE BUTTE COUNTY NEAL ROAD LANDFILL WHEREAS, the Butte County Department of Public Works is in the process of assuming daily operations of the Neal Road Landfill under the direction and supervision of the Director of the Department of Public Works; and WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works requires a fund to make change at the landfill gatehouse which is necessary for its daily operations; and WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 29320 et. seq. provides for the establishment of such funds in amounts to be determined by the Board of Supervisors; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works is requesting that the Board of Supervisors establish such a fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: 1. There is determined to be a need for the establishment of a change fund for the Neal Road Landfill that will allow for the efficient operation of the landfill gatehouse; and 2. The Neal Road Landfill Change Fund is hereby established in accordance with Sections 29320 et. seq. of the Government Code of the State of California; and 3. The Neal Road Landfill Change Fund shall be established in the amount of one- thousand dollars ($1000.00); and 4. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to draw a check in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) in favor of the Butte County Neal Road Landfill, Director of Public Works from the Neal Road Llandfill Management Fund (F-7570); and 5. "1'he Director of Public Works, or his/her designee, shall account for the Neal Road Landfill Change Fund in accordance with Government Code Section 29390 et. seq., and shall provide accountings of said fund to the Auditor and the Board of Supervisors upon request; and 6. "fhe Risk Manager instructed, pursuant to Section " ~~ X23 of the California Government Cod, to a,uend by endorsement the blanket fide-~~y bond of the County to be conditioned in addition to its other provisions, upon the faithful administration of the revolving fund and upon the willingness and ability of the principal for whom such fund has been. established to account for and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board of Supervisors at any time; and 7. Certified copies of this resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County "hreasurer.
