RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNC'T'IONS RELATING TO CIIANGE OF
OWNERSHIP PF,NAI,TY ABATEIl9I+;NT
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte that pursuant to the provisions of section 4804 of the Revenue and Taxation
Code, the Board of Supervisors delegates to the county assessor the authority provided by
subdivision (c) of Section 483 of the Revenue and Taxation Code to abate the penalties
provided for in section (b} of Section 482 of the Revenue and Taxation Code; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the county auditor shall keep an appropriate
record of each act perfornled under this authorization; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resohition shall be forwarded to
the Assessor, Auditor, County Counsel and Clerk of the Board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, this i t `" day of February 2003 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
