RESOLUTION APPROVING GRANT ASSURANCES
FOR EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLANNING GRANT
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is eligible to receive 596,454 in Federal Emergency
Management Agency Supplemental Grant funds far Emergency Operations Planning; and
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be distributed among Butte County, City of Biggs, City
of Chico, City of Gridley, City of Orovilie, and the Town of Paradise in accordance with grant
guidelines.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
approves grant assurances, and authorises the Emergency Services Officer to execute for and on
behalf of the County of Butte, a public entity established under the laws of the State of
California, any actions necessary for the purpose of obtaining federal financial assistance under
P.L. 17-206.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 25`f' day of
February 2003 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors

ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
