A RESOLUTION OF'I'HF. BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
ADOPTING AN AMENDEDMENT 'TO CDBG GRANT NO: 02-EDBG-874
TO INCLUDE THE ALLOCATION OF CDBG PROGRAIl~I INCOME
FOR ADDITIONAL CDBG ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES

WHEREAS, the County of Butte receives program income from various State of
California Community Development Block Grants; and
WHERF,AS, Community Development Block. Grant regulations allotiv program income
to be disbursed into open CDBG grants to utilize program income; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte received notification of approval of CDBG grant #02-
EDBG-874 on December 13, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has program income on hand to be expended toward
CDBG eligible activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
does hereby approve the amendment of CDBG grant #02-EDBG-874 as follows:
SECTION 1.
The Board of Supervisors hereby approves a transfer of up to $650,000 in CDBG
Program Income to grant #02-EDBG-874 to accomplish certain CDBG eligible activities.

The Board of Supervisors hereby approves the allocation of up to $35,0000 Program
Income to complete a Veterans Memorial Hall Expansion Plan Feasibility Study.
SECTION 3.
The Board of Supervisors hereby approves the allocation of up to $455,000 Program
Income to complete outstanding items related to the Southside Oroville Community Center.
SECTION 4.
The Board of Supervisors hereby approves the allocation of up to $160,000 Program
Income for the purchase of property at 874 E. 20`" Street, in the Chapman area for the purpose of
low/moderate housing.
