RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
TO ENTER INTO THE AGREEMENT FOR ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES AND AGREEMENT FOR TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT
WEST 8th AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
PROJECT NO. 54181-99-I
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project
agreement with the City of Chico for the Reconstruction of West Stn Avenue between State
Route 32 and Esplanade; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the City of Chico and County of Butte
acquire all rights-of--way and easements within their respective jurisdictions necessary to
construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must complete all right-of--way and easement
acquisitions and deliver a Right-of--Way Certification to the California Department of
Transportation by August 29, 2003.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, County of
Butte, State of California, in order to expedite the delivery of the Right-of--Way Certification to
California Department of Transportation, authorizes the Director of Public Works to sign the
Agreement for Acquisition of Real Property for Public Road Purposes and the Agreement for
Temporary Construction Easement on the West 8th Avenue Reconstruction Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 13t" day of May 2003, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
