FOR SPECIAL DISTRICTS UNDER CONTROL OF THE
BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003-2004
AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9
OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, Article XIII-B of the California Constitution provides that
local governments must establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article,
and;
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides
that the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its
appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting, and;
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the appropriations
limits for the applicable special districts to be the amounts shown on attachment A for
fiscal year 2003-2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limits
for special districts under control of the Board of Supervisors of Butte County are
established to be the amounts shown on Attachment A for fiscal year 2003-2004, and;
FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof
are i~~ compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
State of California, this 10 day of June, 2003.

SPECIAL DISTRICTS UNDER CONTROL OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
2003-2004 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT CALCULATION
The 2003-2004 Appropriation Limit for the following special districts was computed by
factoring the 2002-2003 limit, modified pursuant to the changes in Article XIII B
made by proposition 111, by the estimated increases in the California per capita
personal income and population as presented to Butte County by the State Department of
Finance. .
