HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-088RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR SPECIAL DISTRICTS UNDER CONTROL OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003-2004 AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9 OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE WHEREAS, Article XIII-B of the California Constitution provides that local governments must establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article, and; WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides that the governing body of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting, and; WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the appropriations limits for the applicable special districts to be the amounts shown on attachment A for fiscal year 2003-2004. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limits for special districts under control of the Board of Supervisors of Butte County are established to be the amounts shown on Attachment A for fiscal year 2003-2004, and; FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof are i~~ compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
