RESOLUTION APPPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING AND THE
EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO
FROM THE PLANNING/TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION OF THE STATE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATION
BE IT RESOLVED by the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1
The Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves application for a State Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Planning and Technical Assistance Grant in the
amount of $35,000 from the Economic Development Allocation component.
SECTION 2
The County of Butte has determined that federal Citizen Participation requirements were met
during the development of this application.
SECTION 3
The Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby approves the use of Program Income -Economic
Development, in the amount of $1,050, to be used as the County's cash match for this project.
SECTION 4
The Butte County Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the
County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 5
If the application is approved, the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into and
sign the grant agreement and any amendments thereto with the State of California for the
purposes of this grant.

on June 10, 2003 by the following vote:
