HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-105BQ~i~Q O.F Sh~PF~1~IS~i~S COUNTYOF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution No. 03-105 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF PROBATION OFFICER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDS PURSUANT TO THE CRIME CONTROL AND SAFE STREETS ACT OF 1968, AMENDED IN 1994 UNDER THE CRIME ACT WHEREAS, the County of Butte desires to continue a certain project that is funded in part from funds made available through the Anti-Drug Abuse Enforcement Program (ADA), administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (OCJP). NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chief Probation Officer of the County of Butte is authorized on its behalf to submit the attached proposal to OCJP, and is authorized to execute on behalf of the Board of Supervisors the attached Grant Award Agreement including any extensions or amendments thereto, and BE IT FURTHER KESOLVED, that the applicant agrees to provide all matching funds required for said project (including any amendments thereof) under the Program and ftu~ding terms and conditions oPOCJP. and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any liability arising out of the performance of the Grant Award Agreement, including civil court actions for damages, shall be the responsibility of the grant recipient and the authorizing agency, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that grant funds received from OCJP shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
