Resolution No. 03-145
RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AUTHORIZING THE
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE ALL GRANT APPLICATIONS AND
CONTRACTS FOR THE FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION (FTA) GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Secretary of Transportation is authorized to make grants for mass transportation
projects;
WHEREAS, the contract for f naucial assistance will impose certain obligations upon the
applicant, including the provision denoting the local share of project costs;
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that
the Butte County Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to sign and file applications for Federal
Transit Administration (FTA) funds and execute all contracts and other documents pertinent to the
Federal Transit Administration (FTA} grant program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supen~isors of the County of Butte, State of
Califoi~~ia, this 23rd- day of September , 2003, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and trice-Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: Chair Beeler
NOT VOTING: None
