RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3861 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 11 ofOrdinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "050-001 AUDITOR-CONTROLLER" by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Accounting Specialist, Senior Account Clerk ar Account Clerk
(Position to end 12-31-03)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Accounting Specialist, Senior Account Clerk or Account Clerk
(Position to end 06-30-04)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 40.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3 861. of the County of Butte
entitled "320-001 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" by deleting therefrom the
following:

1 Paralegal (Position to end 12-31-03)
anal adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Paralegal (Position to end 06-30-04)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 81.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 22 of Ordinance No. 3861 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-005 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -WELFARE FRAUD" by adding thereto the
following:

thereby increasing the total from 18 to 20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 23 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "360-001 SHERIFF-CORONER -SERVICES" by deleting therefrom the
following:

1 Sheriff's Clerk II (Position to end 12-31-03)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Sheriff's Clerk II (Position to end 12-31-04)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 61.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 24 of Ordinance No. 3 861. of the County of Butte
entitled "360-002 SHERIFF-CORONER -OPERATIONS" by deleting therefrom the
following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Deputy Sheriff (Position to end 12-31-03)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Deputy Sheriff (Position to end 12-31-04)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 78.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 45 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "540-001. PUBLIC HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" by deleting therefrom
the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Public Health Assistant II, I {Position to end 12-31-03)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
.5 Certified Nurse Practitioner
1 Administrative Analyst III, II, I
1 Public Health Assistant II, I {Position to end 12-31-04)
thereby increasing the total from 146 to 147.5.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 46 of Ordinance Na. 3 $61 of the County of Butte
entitled "540-003 PUBLIC HEALTH -ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH" by deleting
therefrom the fallowing:

1 Environmental Health Specialist II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
I Environmental Health Specialist III, II, I
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 25.5.
