HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-171 Resolution No. 03-171 RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT NOT TO CONTRACT WITH NORTH VALLEY PARENT EDUCATION NETWORK'S OROVILLE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER FOR DRUG MEDI-CAL SERVICES SUBMITTED BY BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FOR FY 2003/2004 WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health {BCDBH) believes it is not in the best interest of the County of Butte to enter into a contractual relationship with Narth Valley Parent Education Network's Oroville Family Resource Center to provide Drug Medi-Cal services because of the administrative cost County of Butte would incur and the significant flow of non- BCDBH referred residents into this program; and WHEREAS, it is required that BCDBH obtains approval from the Butte County Board of Supervisors to decline to enter into the contractual relationship described above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors authorizes the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health to decline to enter into a contractual relationship with North Valley Parent Education Network for the provision of Drug Medi-Cal services at the Oroville Family Resource Center. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 16tH day of December 2003, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler NOES: None ABSENT: None NOT VOTING: None ~~~~~ R.
