HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-173~~~~- ~-~~ suPE~~~sc~ ~ij~ ~. ~t~ ~r r ~~~°~;~~ :,~s .fix ., :~ _ Resolution No. 03-173 RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AMENDING THE BUTTE COUNTY CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE WHEREAS, on May 7, 1991, the Butte County Board of Supervisors, by Resolution No. 91-56, adopted a Conflict of Interest Code, a list of Designated Employees, a list of Committees and Commissions, and Place of Filing for Designated Employees and Committees and Commissions (hereafter collectively termed "Code") pursuant to the Fair Political Practices Act; on June 22, 1993, adopted Resolution No. 93-86 amending said Code; on March 26, 1996, adopted Resolution No. 96-30 amending said Code; on May 13, 1997, adopted Resolution No. 97-59 amending said code; and on April 26, 2001, adopted Resolution No. 01-046 amending said code; WHEREAS, the County of Butte has reviewed the Code as amended, on a periodic basis as required by the Fair Political Practices Act; and WHEREAS, after conducting such review, the Code requires modification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that: 1. That the list of Designated Employees as set forth in the Cade adopted by Resolution No. 01-046 be replaced fully and completely by the list of Designated Employees which accompanies this resolution. This attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment B to the County Conflict of Interest Code and become the applicable and valid Attachment B to that Code. 2. The list of committees and commissions, the members of which are required to fi1.e Conflict of Interest Statements, be replaced fully and completely with the list of commissions and committees which accompanies this resolution. This attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment C to the County Conflict of Interest Code and become the applicable and valid Attachment C {Parts I, II and III) to that Code. 3. The list of disclosure categories for designated positions, be replaced fully and completely with the list of disclosure categories for designated positions Page 1 which accompanies this resolution. This attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment D to the County Conflict of Interest Code and become the applicable and valid Attachment D to that Code. 4. The Place of Filing for Designated Employees, Committees and Commissions, be replaced fully and completely with the Place of Filing for Designated Employees, Committees and Commissions, which accompanies this Resolution. This attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment E to the County Conflict of Interest Code and become the applicable and valid Attachment E to that Code. CATEGORY II All investments, business positions and income, including gifts, loans and travel payments, from sources that provide leased facilities, supplies, materials, goods, equipment, vehicles, machinery or services, including training or consulting services, of the type utilized by the agency. G:AkE30~UTI0NS~cor.flict2003attach7.wpd ATTACHMENT E CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE COUNTY OF BUTTE Place of Filing Statements of Economic Interests Attachment B -Part I: Where: County Clerk-Recorder Butte County Elections Department 25 County Center Drive, Oravil1e CA 95965 From the list of designated employees, the Director of Human Resources shall be required to enclose in each appointment packet, a Form 700 -Statement fo Economic Interests. The Director of Human Resources shall notify the filing officer (County Clerk-Recorder] within seven days of each employee assuming or leaving any designated position. The employee shall submit the completed statement to his or her department head which shall make and retain a copy and forward the original statement to the County Clerk (Elections Department) where it shall e held on file. Attachment C -Part I: Where: Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Administration Office 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965 The Clerk. of the Butte County Board of Supervisors shall furnish to each designated member upon his or her appointment and termination, a Farm 700 - Statement of Economic Interests. The member shall submit the completed statement to the Clerk of the Butte County Board of Supervisors where it shall be held on file. Attachment C -Part II: Where: County Clerk-Recorder Elections Department 2~ County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965 The County Clerk-Recorder shall furnish to each designated member upon their appointment and termination, a Forn~ 700 -Statement of Economic Interests. The members shall submit the completed statement to the County Clerk-Recorder (Elections Department) where it shall be held on file. Attachment C -Part III: Where: Butte County Consolidated Courts Court Executive Officer One Caurt Street, Oroville, CA 95965 The Court Executive Officer of the Butte County Consolidated Courts shall furnish to each designated member upon his or her appointment and terminations a Fonn 700 -Statement of Economic Interests.
