RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3861 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 14 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "070-001 TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR" by deleting therefrom the
following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Supervisor -Property Taxes
1 Principal Cashier/Investment Officer
1 Assistant Treasurer-Tax Collector -Taxes and Revenue
1 Accounting Specialist, Senior Account Clerk or Account Clerk
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Supervisor -Taxes and Staff Services
1 Supervisor -Banking and Cash Management
1 Assistant Treasurer-Tax Collector
1 Supervisor -Clerical Support Services
1 Manager -Finance and Investment
thereby increasing the total from 21 to 22.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-001 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" by adding thereto the
following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Legal Typist Clerk (position to end 06-30-04)
thereby increasing the total from 81.5 to 82.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 32 of Ordinance No. 3 86 I of the County of Butte

entitled "430-001 PROBATION" by deleting therefrom the following:

1 Probation Officer III, II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Supervisor -Staff Support Services
thereby decreasing the total from 104.5 to 103.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 39 of Ordinance No. 3861 of the County of Butte
entitled "470-001 COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER" by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Deputy County Clerk-Recorder I (Position to end O 1-30-04)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Deputy County Clerk-Recorder I (Position to end 06-30-04)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 15.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 47 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "541-001. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" by deleting
therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Health Education Specialist II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Health Education Specialist III, II, I
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 341.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 62 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "720-001 ADMINISTRATIVE -FACILITIES SERVICES" by adding thereto
the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Facilities Project Specialist (term position to end 12-31-04)
thereby increasing the total from 4 l to 42.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 66 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "757-001 NEAL ROAD SANITARY LANDFILL (MANAGEMENT)" by

adding thereto the following:

1 Senior Landfill Equipment Operator or Landfill Equipment
Operator (term position to end 06-30-04)
thereby increasing the total from 17 to 18.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 67 of Ordinance No. 3861 of the County of Butte
entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASS IFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE F,
MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL AND SUPERVISORY UNIT
CLASSIFICATIONS" by deleting therefrom the following:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 67 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS" by adding thereto the
following salary table:
"REFERENCE K, NON-REPRESENTED CLASSIFICATIONS"
that will include the following classification:
