RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF BILL GREEN
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors recognizes the outstanding efforts
of its citizen volunteer firefighters; and
WHEREAS, Bill Green has been a Butte County Volunteer Firefighter in Bangor since
1982; and
WHEREAS, Bill Green has put in countless hours serving the citizens of Bangor and
Butte County, responding to emergencies of all types at all hours of the day or night; and
WHEREAS, Bill Green was a charter member and active participant of the Butte
Interagency Drowning Accident Rescue Team from 1992 to 2002; and
WHEREAS, Bill Green has provided leadership to many new volunteer firefighters and
fostered excellent working relationships, and friendship, with career firefighters throughout Butte
County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
recognizes and congratulates Bill Green on 21 years of dedicated service, and outstanding
achievement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Buttc County Board of Supervisors this 27`" day of
January 2004 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dalan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
