RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO THE S T A'T'E
DEPARrI'MENT OF FISH & GAME'S PROPOSED BUCKS MOUNTAIN-
BLUE CANYON JUNIOK EITHER-SEX DEER HUNT IN AREA J-16
WHEREAS, this Board was duly notified of a proposal by the State Department of Fish
and Game to allow the Bucks Mauntain-Blue Canyon junior either-sex deer hunt in area 1-16;
and
WHEREAS, this Board duly noticed and held a hearing at its regular meeting on
January 27, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors considered a unanimous recommendation of the
Butte County Fish and Game Commission to object to the State Department's proposed Bucks
Mauntain-Blue Canyon junior either-sex deer hunt in area 1-1C.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board pursuant to Sections 458
and 459 of the Fish and Game Code, hereby respectfully opposes the State Department of Fish
and Game's proposed Bucks Mountain-Blue Canyon junior either-sex deer hunt in area J-16.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 27`~ day of
January 2004 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors
NOES: Supervisors
ABSENT: None
