RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF J.C. HALTIWANGER
UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, J.C. Haltiwanger, Road Maintenance Worker III for the Department of Public
Works, announced his retirement as of April 14, 2004; and
WHEREAS, J.C. Haltiwanger began his career with the County of Butte in 1975, as a CETA V1
Imployee, in the Department of Public Works, advancing within the Department, to become a Road
Maintenance Worker III, his present position; and
WHEREAS, J.C. Haltiwanger worked as a CETA VI Employee, Road Maintenance Man, Road
Maintenance Worker I, Road Maintenance Worker II, and Road Maintenance Worker III in the Public
Works Department for many years; and
WHEREAS, J.C. Haltiwanger has earned the respect of fellow employees, engineers, surveyors,
coati-actors, and others im~olved in Public Works activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the
residents of the County of Butte for nearly twenty-nine (29) years with distinction;
NOVV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of
the residents of the County of Butte, wish to e~:press to J.C. I-Ialtiwanger sincere appreciation for his
many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of
Butte, and further wish him well on his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 27'x' day of April 2004, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Iloux, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
