RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS
TO NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC ROAD PURPOSES,
AGREEMENTS FOR TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS, AND PERMITS
TO ENTER AND CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS FOR OWNERS BENEFIT FOR
THE OROVILLE QUINCY HIGHWAY CA 119 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
PROJECT NO. CA PFH 119-2(4)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors have entered into a project
agreement with the Federal Highway Administration to participate in the construction of Oroville
Quincy Highway; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights of
way and easements necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must complete all right of way and easement
acquisitions and deliver a right of way certification to the Federal Highway Administration by
February 1, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors, County of
Butte, State of California, in order to expedite the delivery of the right of way certification to the
Federal Highway Administration, authorizes the Director of Public Works to negotiate and sign
the Agreement for Acquisition of Real Property for Road Purposes, Agreement for Temporary
Construction Easements, and Permit to Enter and Construct Improvements for Owners Benefit
for the Oroville Quincy Highway CA 119 Reconstruction Project; Project No. CA PFH 119-2{4).
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 27`'' day of April 2004, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Hour, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
