RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3861 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-001 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" by deleting therefrom the
following:
Positions Classification Title
1 District Attorney Investigator II, I (position to ~d 06-30-04)
1 Paralegal (position to end 06-30-04)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 District Attorney Investigator II, I (position to end 06-30-OS)
1 Paralegal (position to end 06-30-OS)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 82.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3861 of the County ofButte
entitled "440-001 DEVELOPMENT SERVICES" by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Information Systems Analyst III, II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Senior Planner or Associate Planner
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 45.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 57 of Ordinance No. 3861 of the County of Butte
entitled "629-001 LIBRARY -LITERACY GRANT" by deleting therefrom the
following:

and adding thereto the following:

.75 Library Assistant III (position to end 12-31-04)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 4.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 66 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "757-001 NEAL ROAD SANITARY LANDFILL (MANAGEMENT)" by
deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Senior Landfill Equipment Operator or
Landfill Equipment Operator (term position to end 06-30-04)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Senior Landfill Equipment Operator or
Landfill Equipment Operator (term position to end 12-31-04)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 18.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS,
REFERENCE D, SEVERANCE ACCRUAL FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS*" by deleting
therefrom the following:
*At severance, an elected official shall receive compensation equal to the number
of years (or fraction thereof) of employment after adoption by the Board multiplied
by the amount(s) listed.
and adding thereto the following:
*At severance, an elected department head shall receive compensation equal to the
number of years (or fraction thereof) served in elected capacity multiplied by the
amount(s) listed above.
