RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3861 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 19 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "320-001 DISTRICT ATTORNEY -CRIMINAL" by adding thereto the
following:
Positions Classification Title
2 Deputy District Attorney IV, III, II, I (position to end 06-30-OS)
1 Legal Typist Clerk (position to end 06-30-OS)
thereby increasing the total from 75.5 to 78.5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 24 of Ordinance No. 3861 of the County of Butte
entitled "360-002 SHERIFF-CORONER -OPERATIONS" by adding thereto the
following:
Positions Classification Title
2 Deputy Sheriff (position to end 06-30-OS)
thereby increasing the total from 78 to 80.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 32 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "430-001 PROBATION" by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Legal Typist Clerk
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Legal Secretary I
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 99.5.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 43 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "533-002 PUBLIC WORKS -CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE" by
deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Engineering Technician III, II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Assistant Surveyor or Engineering Technician III, II, I
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 92.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 62 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "720-001 FACILITIES SERVICES" by deleting therefrom the following:

1 Grounds Maintenance Worker II, I
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Lead -Grounds Maintenance or
Grounds Maintenance Worker II, I
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 41.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3 861 of the County of Butte
entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR ELECTED AND APPOINTED OFFICIALS,
REFERENCE A, APPOINTED DEPARTMENT HEADS" by deleting therefrom the
following:

$83,400 160 LAFCo Executive Officer
and adding thereto the following:

$87,620 160 LAFCo Executive Officer
