FOR COUNTY OF BUTTE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005
AS REQUIRED BY SEC'I~ION 7910, DIVISION 9
OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WI-IEREAS, Article MII-B of the California Constitution provides that
local governments must establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article,
alld;
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides
that the governing body of each local jLU-isdiction shall, by resolution, establish its
appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting, and;
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County
appropriations limit for tiscal year 2004-2005 to be $107,306,492.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limit for
Butte County is established to be $107,306,492 for fiscal year 2004-2005, and;
FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the deternlillation thereof
are in compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte,
State of California, this 3rd day of August, 2004.
