A KESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND CON'1 RAC'T EXECU'1 ION FOK
FUNDING FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATION OF THE STATE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMEN'T' BLOCK GRAN'T' (CDHG} PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING TIIE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMEN'T' AND ANY
AMENDMENTS 'THERETO WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE
PiJRPOSES OF PHIS GRANT.
BE I'i' RESOLVED by the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves application for: State
Com-T~unity Development Block Grant (CDBG Program) for $175,125 from the Enterprise Fund
Component:
l) General Administration - $13,100;
2) Activity Delivery - $1G,200;
3} Microenterprise Assistance - $145,825;
SECTION 2. If the grant application is approved, the Tri-County Economic Development
Corporation will provide 1oca1 leverage through in-kind services rotali:a _ x,550.00
SECTION 3. The Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorised and directed to act on the
County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 4. If the application is approved, the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter
into and sign the grant. agreement and any amendments thereto with the State of California for the purposes
of this grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 17"' day of August 2004,
by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, tloux, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
