RESOLUTION APPROVING DEPARTMENT OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION AWARD UNDER VOLUNTARY FIRE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte is authorized to approve this award for services under the Volunteer Fire Assistance Program of the Cooperative Fire Assistance Act of 1978; BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the Butte County Fire Department, that said Board does hereby approve the contract with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection dated as of the last signatory date on page 6 of the contract. This agreement provides for an award during the State Fiscal year 2004!2005 up to and no more than the amount of $19,150; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Chairperson of said Board be and hereby is authorized to sign and execute said contract on behalf of the Butte County Fire Department entered into between the County of Butte and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, covering the period July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005; The foregoing resolution was duly passed and adopted by the Butte County Board of Supervisors. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 31st day of August 2004 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler NOES: None ABSENT: None ~- 04-157 NOT VOTING: None ~ ~ 1 .l_ L `~ R.
