RESOLUTION APPROVING AN OVERALL ANNUAL DISADVANTAGEll LOUSINESS
I~NTI?RI'I2ISE (DI3E) PROGRAM GOAL OF 10°h FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR
2Q04/2005, F012 ADOPTION ANll SUBMISSION TO THE CALIFORNIA
DF.PARTMF.NT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS)
WHh,REAS, Butte County is required to develop and utilize an Overall Annual Goal for DBE
participation for DO"I`-assisted contracts, as a condition of federal program lilnding assistance,
pursuant to "title 49 CFR Part ?6; Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in U.S.
Department of Transportation (DO"I~) Pragranls; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with new DBE, regulations, Butte County has developed a narrowly
tailored Proposed Overall Annual DI3l~: Goal oI~ 10% for E~ederal Fiscal Year 2004/200; and
~~HEREAS, adoption by the Board of Supervisors is required to ensure compliance with
Department of Transportation federal funding requirements, provisions and financial
reSl?Ollslbllltles.
NOVV, THEREFORE, I3E 1T RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the
Proposed Overall Annual DBE Goal for Federal Fiscal Year 204/2005 is hereby approved.
AND 13E IT FU12"I'L1ER RESOLVED that the Chair of the Butte County Board of Supervisors
is hereby authorised to execute the adoption of the Proposed Overall Annual Goal f-or Federal
Fiscal Fear 2004/2005, and, submission to the California Department of Transportation
(Caltrans), on behalf of the County, for fwlding authority approval.
PASSED ANll ADOP"TED at a regular meeting of the Butte County Board of Supervisors held
on the I4'~' day of September 2004.
