RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION
OF
TERRI BURDINE
Whereas, this Board expresses its appreciation to TF,kX113(Jlzl)INL' for her 19 years of dedicated
service to the Butte County Sherifl"s OfGcc.
Whereas, ILkHI BUlr'I~INH' began her law enforcement career with the Butte County Sheriff"s
Office as an Extra-Help Typist Clerk III on November 2l, 1984. On November 25, 198, "1'hRRI RIIRI)INE
was hired as a full-lime Typist Clerk II, and in October of 1989 she was promoted to Senior Account Clerk.
In June of 1990 I L'1zIZ1 BUIl1~INH' became a Public Safety Dispatcher and has spent the last 14 years as a
9 I I Operator. '1'Ii1ZR113t11Z1~INF, is well liked by all of her peers and has always gone oui of her way to assist
the citizens of Butte County. TkRIr'I 13UIlU1Nl: has faced numerous crises in the Dispatch Center from at-
risk missing people.. to serious felonies in progress, and she has done so in a cool. calm and courageous
manner.
Whereas, after sen~ing the citizens of Butte County for 19 years. '1'I:IZRI BIIRL)INI.' is retiring on
September 1. 2i)U4.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors on its own behalf. and on
behalf of the residents of the County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and devotion given by
I h72R1 RtIX/~INL' during his career with the Butte County Sherift~s Office.
