RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF RICHARD O. FOX
UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, Richard Fox, Lead Road Maintenance Worker for the Department of Public Works,
announced his retirement as of November 22, 2004; and
WHI?REAS, Richard Fox began his career with the County of Butte in 1990, as a Road
Maintenance Worker, in the Department of Public Works, advancing within the Department, to become a
lead Road Maintenance Worker, his present position; and
WHEREAS, Richard Fox worked as a Road Maintenance Worker I, II and III, and a Lead Road
Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department for many years; and
~~'HF,REAS, [Zichard Fox has earned the respect of fellow employees, engineers, surveyors,
contractors, and others involved in Public Works activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the
residents of the County of Butte for approximately fourteen (14) years with distinction and leadership;
NOW, THERF,FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own be11a1Cand on behalf of~
the residents of the County of Butte, wish to express to Richard Fox sincere appreciation for his many
years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and
further wish him well on his retirement.
PASSEU AND ADOPTF,D by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, Slate of
California, this 26`x' day of October 2004, by the Following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
