RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENT NOT TO CONTRACT WITH
FEATHER RIVER TRIBAL HEALTH FOR DRUG MEDI-CAL SERVICES

FOR
FY 2004/2005
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) believes it
is not in the interests of the County of Butte to enter into a contractual relationship with
Feather River Tribal Health to provide Drug Medi-Cal services because of the
administrative cost County of Butte would incur and the significant flow of non-BCDBH
referred residents into this program; and
WHEREAS, it is required for BCDBH to obtain approval from the Butte County
Board of Supervisors to decline to enter into the contractual relationship described
above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors authorizes the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health to decline to
enter into a contractual relationship with Feather River Tribal Health to provide Drug
Medi-Cal services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte Gounty Board of Supervisors this
14'" day of December 2004, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan,
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
