RESOLUTION AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 38$4 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 45 ofOrdinance No. 38$4 of the County of Butte
entitled "540-001 Pt1BLIC HEALTH -GENERAL SERVICES" by deleting therefrom
the following:
Positions Classification Title
.5 Certified Nurse Practitioner
2.5 Certified Nurse Practitioner or Public Health Nurse III, II, i
1 Information Systems Analyst III, II, I (position to end 12-31-04)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
.5 Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant
2.5 Certified Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant or
Public Health Nurse III, II, I
I Information Systems Analyst III, II, I (position to end OC-30-05)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 150.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BF. IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte hereby amends Section 51 of Ordinance No. 3884 of the County of
Butte entitled "570-001 EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES -
ADMINISTRATION" by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
I Administrative Services Assistant
1 Legal Typist Clerk
I Social Worker IV, III
and adding thereto the following:

3 Accounting Specialist, Senior Account Clerk or
Account Clerk
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 176.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 53 of Ordinance No. 3 884 of the County of Butte
entitled "570-004 EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES -SERVICES" by adding
thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
4 Social Worker IV, III
thereby increasing the total from 119 to 123.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County ofButte hereby amends Section 57 of Ordinance No. 3884 of the County of Butte
entitled "629 LIBRARY -LITERACY GRANT" by deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Classification Title
I Library Assistant II (position to end 12-3 I-04)
and adding thereto the following:
Positions Classification Title
1 Library Assistant II (position to end 06-30-OS)
thereby leaving the total unchanged at 4.25.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte hereby amends Section 68 of Ordinance No. 3884 of the County of Butte
entitled "SALARY PLAN FOR CLASSIFIED POSITIONS, REFERENCE G,
PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES' UNIT CLASSIFICATIONS" by adding thereto the
follawing:
