Harley, Building Crafts Worker III far Facilities Services Division of the Administration/General Services Department, announced his retirement as of December 30, 2004; and tiVHEREAS, Jack L. Harley began his career with the County of Butte in 1974, as a Janitor, in the Buildings and Grounds Division, advancing within the Division, to become a Grounds Maintenance Aide in 1981; and WHEREAS, Jack L. Harley was promoted to Building Maintenance Aide in 1981, advancing to Building Crafts Worker I in 1982; Building Crafts Worker II in 1985; and to his present position of Building Crafts Worker III in 1992; and WHEREAS, Jack L. Ilarley has earned the respect of fellow employees, contractors, and others involved in Facilities Services activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the residents of the County of Butte for aver thirty {30) years with extraordinary distinction and professionalism in carrying out his duties; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RF,SOI.VED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, wishes to express to Jack L. Marley sincere appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wish him well on his retirement. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this ] 4'}' day of December 2004, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler NOES: None ABSENT: None NOT VOTING: None _< ~~ , I R.J.
