RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF PAUL E. WORDEN
UPON RETIREMENT FROM BUTTE COUNTY FACILITIES SERVICES
WHEREAS, Paul E. Worden, Supervisor-Janitor Services for Facilities Services Division of the
AdministrationlGeneral Services Department, announced his retirement as of December 30, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Paul E. Worden began his career with the County of Butte in 1994, as a Janitor, in
the Buildings and Grounds Division; and
WHEREAS, Paul E. Worden was promoted to his current position of Supervisor-Janitor Services
in 1995; and
WHEREAS, Paul E. Worden has earned the respect of fellow employees, contractors, and others
involved in Facilities Services activities in Butte County, and has diligently served the residents of the
County of Butte for over ten (10) years with extraordinary distinction and professionalism in carrying out
his duties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of
the residents of the County of Butte, wishes to express to Paul E. Worden sincere appreciation for his
many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of
Butte, and further wish him well on his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this l4~' day of December 2004, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan,
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
