RESOLUTION IN RECOGNI"TION OF LYNDA BORUNDA
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DF,PAKTMENT
WHEREAS, Lynda Borunda has announced her retirement as of December 30, 2004: and
i~'HERFAS, Lynda Borunda began her career with the County of Butte on August 1 &, 1988, as a Typist
Clerk I working for Public Health; and
WHEREAS, Lynda Borunda has further advanced her career in Public Health to "typist Clerk 11 in August
1989, Typist Clerk 111 in 1Vlarch 1991, Office Assistant Ill in September 1991, Medical Records Technician in
February 1992, and Medical Records 'technician II in October 1995; and
WHEREAS, Lynda Borunda has provided support to Public Health programs for over sixteen years.
including family Planning Clinic, California Children's Services, and the Child 1[ealth and Disability Prevention
Program; and
WHEREAS, in her many years of work for the County, Lynda Borunda has demonstrated efficiency and
competency, provided courteous and professional customer service, and upheld a high standard of work
performance for Public Health. These qualities have earned her the respect of her colleagues and the appreciation of
the Department.
NOV1', THEREFORE, I3E IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors wishes to express to I_.ynda
Borunda sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and service to Butte County, and further, wishes her
well on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the County of Board of Supervisors this 14~~' day of December by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, HouY, Josiassen, Yamaguchi and Chair Beeler
