BUTTE COUN'T'Y PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, this Board expresses its appreciation to Barbara Dunivan-Elder for dedicating 1 year and eleven months of service to Butte County Children & Families Commission. WHEREAS, Barbara Dunivan-Elder bean working with the Butte County Children & Families Commission as an Administrative Analyst on January 17, 2002. Analyst Dunivan worked successfully in many different assignments including policy development, competitive bidding process for allocating Prop 10 funds countywide, and facilitating Grant Co~mcil collabo-ation on behalf of Butte County Children and Families Commission. WHEREAS, during the first yeah and eleven months as Administrative Analyst, Barbara Dunivan-Elder developed fourteen policies for Butte County Children and Families Commission's consideration and adoption. WHEREAS, during the first year and eleven months as Administrative Analyst, Barbara Dunivan-Elder facilitated Butte County Children and Families Commission's competitive bidding for over 2._5 million dollars of grant awards. WHEREAS, during the first year as Administrative Analyst, Barbara Dunivan-Elder increased community based parmerina, planning and program implementation using the quarterly Grant Council meetings as a collaborative forum, which receives continuous notable mention from commissioners and the public; and WHI+~REAS, after serving the citizens of Butte County for ten and one-half years in various positions within the County, Barba a DLInIVan-Elder, is retiring on December 30, 2004. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors wishes to express to Barbara Dunivan-Elder sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and services to Butte County, and further, wishes her well on her retirement.
