RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF CHRIS'I'[NA HARGIS
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
N0. 04-243
WHEREAS, Christina Hargis has announced her retirement as of November 1, 2004,
~'fIIEREAS, Christina Hargis began her career with the County of Butte on April 1,
1991, as a "Typist Clerk 1 working for Public I Iealth; and
WHEREAS, Christina Hargis has further advanced her career in Public Health to Office
Assistant I in September 1991, Office Assistant II in September 1992, Medical Records
"I•ecllnician I in October 1995, and Medical Records Technician II in June 2003; and
WHEREAS, Christina Hargis has provided support to Public health programs for over
thirteen years, including health L'ducation, Clinic Services, California Children's Services,
Hepatitis A Project, and Immunizations; and
V~'HEREAS, Christina Hargis has upheld a high standard of work performance and
maintained helpful and professional customer services for Public Health, which has earned her
the respect and appreciation of the Department.
NO«', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors wishes to
e~:press to Christina Hargis sincere appreciation for her many years of dedication and service to
Butte County, and further, wishes her well on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14th day of
December 200~I by tl~e following vote:
