RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF ,TAN HILDENBRAND
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHh,REAS, Jan Hildenbrand, Public Health Nutritionist for the Vb'omen, Infant and Children"s
(WIC') Program within the Public Health Department, announced her retirement as of December 31st,

~VHERF..AS, Jan I Iildenbrand began her career with the Public health Department in September
1493 as an extra help PLlblic Health Nutritionist for the WIC Program after working for WIC in Lake
and Sutter Counties since 1990; and
WHEREAS, Jan I Iildenbrand was hired as a regular help Public I~ealth Nutritionist in hebruary
of 1994, became a Certified Lactation Educator in 1995, and assumed the duties of the Breastteeding
Coordinator and expert for Butte Counly; and
WHEREAS, ,ian i~ildenbrand has been an exemplary and hard working employee of Public
Health, teaching women about nutrition for themselves and their babies, assisting women with
breastfeeding problems, collaborating with breastfeeding experts throughout the County, helping
overweight women and their families, and o<<erall helping hundreds of families with high risk children.
NO~~', THEREFORE, BF, IT RESOLVED that the Board of Su ervisors wishes to express to
tan Hildenbrand sincere apppreciation for her many years of dedication and service to Butte County, and
f"urther, wishes her well on her retirement.
PASSED AND AllOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14'x' day of December 200
