RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF MARCO JENNINGS
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Margaret (Margo) Jennings has announced her retirement as of December 30, 2004, and
WHEREAS, Margo Jennings began her career tivith the County of Butte an March 22, 1997, as an Office
Assistant I, Extra Help position, working for Public Health; and
WHEREAS, Margo .Jennings has further advanced her career in Public Health by achieving Regular Flclp
status in January 1998 and promoting to Public Health Assistant [ in April 199&, and Public Health Assistant II in
April 2000; and
WHEREAS, Margo .lcnnings has provided support to Puhlic {iealth programs for over seven years.
including Clinic Services and the. Child Health and Disability Prevention Program; and
WHEREAS, Margo .lcnnings has provided bilingual Spanish services far clients, advocated for children's
health, and performed the duties of her job with efficiency, reliability and commitment, which has earned her the
respect and appreciation of the Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED tl~iat the Board of Supervisors wishes to express to Margo
Jennings sincere appreciatio^ for her many years of dedication and service to Butte County, and further, wishes her
well on her retirement.
