RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF BETTY McAVOY
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY PUBLIC HF.AI.TH DEPARTMF,NT

WHEREAS, Betty McAvoy has announced her retirement as of December 31, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Betty McAvoy attended Sierra, Yuba, and Butte Community Colleges; and
WIIEREAS, Betty McAvoy served as Principal Clerk, Medical Records Supers-isor, and
Sllpel'Vlsor Clel'leal SUppOYt D1Vlslon of PL1blIC I lealth Nlll-Slug trOll7 19gc~ Ulltll retlt'elTlent; and
WHEREAS, Betty McAvoy trained Butte College 1~~ork Study students who later
became Butte County employees; and
WHEREAS, Betty McAvoy was a member of the Curriculwn Committee for Butte
College Information Systems, Business/Medical Office Certificate programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors wishes to
express to Betty McAvoy sincere appreciation for her many years of ds:dication and service to
Butte County, and further, wishes her well on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14'x' day of
December 2004 by the following vote:
